The Corsair K70 MAX mechanical keyboard offers a detachable wrist rest, allowing users to use it (or not). While it is comfortable during gaming sessions, its usage depends on personal preference. The wrist rest features a surface made of dimpled rubber, aiding in ventilation and providing a firm grip, even in sweaty conditions. The rest is constructed from plastic, offering a satisfying tactile feel suitable for gaming and productivity tasks.

All keys on the K70 MAX are equipped with RGB back-light LEDs, allowing you to configure the colors and animations according to your preference. The keyboard includes two extra buttons at the top left, enabling quick control of enabling/disabling animations or dimming the keys in three stages, all of which can be managed through Corsair's iCUE software. Certain games can also communicate with iCUE to create game-specific color themes.

The customizable backlighting options provide ample ambient lighting, and users can adjust the brightness to their liking. However, the brightest setting might be excessively intense, especially in low-light conditions. Nevertheless, the K70 MAX stands out as an attractive keyboard with a sturdy design, mechanical keys, and an anodized black aluminum finish.
