Panel color uniformity

The thesis behind screen uniformity is how the image is distributed across the screen. A uniform screen displays an image that remains consistent in terms of clarity, color, and brightness at all points across the display area. We test at more realistic 67% and 50% brightness levels as with OLED you're bound to increase your brightness value.

The screen color uniformity is being discussed here, which refers to the same colors when measured at nine distinct areas across the screen. The outcome of this assessment is highly satisfactory.

 

Panel Luminance uniformity

In certain cases, screens can exhibit non-uniformity, resulting in a slightly "dirty" appearance with visible imperfections like banding when viewed against an all-white background. However, it's important to note that while this may sound concerning, its impact may not be readily noticeable when viewing colored content such as your desktop or gaming graphics.

Panel luminance or brightness uniformity tells us how well the screen is lit up by the LEDs and where it is brighter compared to other spots. We measure at nine hotspots on the screen, with slightly varying results. Things are very consistent despite what you might think about the percentage values. For any result in this chapter, a value of under 20% is not noticeable to the untrained eye.
