AIMesh Router Setup

The process of setting up a mesh network involves adding a second or even a third unit. While it is recommended to create a mesh network using a wired Ethernet connection, this is not always possible. Therefore, we will create the mesh using WIFI to more accurately represent the stability of the WIFI network.

To begin, you should set up the first router as a standalone router for web browsing, using the latest firmware available. If you're adding a mesh later, it's important to make sure all devices have the latest firmware for security purposes. As part of this setup, we will add an access point (AP) to our network structure. If you are setting up the mesh network in your home, you should select the wireless router mode.

As stated we'll be adding this router as an access point though. Below some generic other options of this router visualized.
