Product Installation
Product installation
The included manual describes the installation process, but you can also find it on the Deepcool website. We’ll show it to you on the example of the AM5 platform.
First, remove the original (plastic) installation elements from the motherboard (but leave the backplate).
Then, you secure the backplate by applying four standoffs. Most modern cases have a giant cut-out for the CPU cooler, so there should be no need to pull the motherboard out to install the backplate (if needed).
The next step is to remove the top cover and slide out the center fan.
A syringe of the Deepcool DM9 is provided, which you need to apply.
Then, you can mount the cooler.
Afterward, you must slide the center fan back and mount the top cover on the heatsink. Last but not least - you need to plug the two fans using the fan controller (or directly into the motherboard). Overall, the process is easy enough, and you don’t need help from a second person.
