Prepping the mainboard and CPU. Look at that huge Silent-X cooler there. Let's take it off and prepare this mainboard for surgery. FYI - this is an Albatron PX865PE Pro 2 mainboard with a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz processor.
Now then, you can use any Pentium 4 mainboard as it has Socket 478. Basically the only thing you need to do is remove the retention mechanism mounted onto the mainboard for your CPU fan.
Once removed, put the bracket in place as demonstrated.
