Technical Overview of CORSAIR iCUE LINK LCD Liquid CPU Cooler

The CORSAIR iCUE LINK LCD Liquid CPU Cooler is designed with a 2.1” IPS LCD screen, allowing users to display relevant system information. The cooler contributes to optimal processor performance by maintaining lowered temperatures. The beauty of the CORSAIR iCUE LINK ecosystem. It aims to introduce you to a more organized approach to PC building, reducing the complexities associated with varying cables and connectors. Imagine a system where each component, whether it's a cooler or fan, uses a standardized connector. These connectors can be connected to each other, forming a consistent chain of components all connected to a single iCUE LINK System Hub. The result is a more streamlined system assembly process. We'll discuss the first set of products in the iCUE LINK ecosystem. You'll learn about each device's features, from the RGB Liquid AIO Coolers and QX RGB fans to the central System Hub. Dive in to understand each product and its role in enhancing the PC building process.

Display: The 2.1” IPS LCD screen offers a 480x480 resolution, an ultra-bright 600cd/m² backlight, 24-bit true color depth, and supports over 16.7 million colors. Users can display real-time CPU temperature, animated GIFs, and other personalized images or logos.

iCUE LINK Ecosystem: This patent-pending ecosystem provides hidden connections that simplify the assembly process, reducing visible cables and connectors. It allows users to chain components using universal connectors, connected to a single port on the included iCUE LINK System Hub.

Cooler Design: A split flow copper cold plate, high-surface area radiator, and premium XTM70 thermal paste come pre-applied. This ensures efficient cooling. All connections are shifted to the radiator's end, providing an unobstructed view of the LCD screen. Noticeably, the pump lacks power or USB wiring. These cables are routed beneath the tube sleeves and end at the radiator's distribution hub. This hub needs a connection to the System Hub for power and data. A Type-C cable connection to the distribution hub and a USB 2.0 9-pin header on the motherboard is also essential.

QX RGB Fans: Mounted on the radiator, the CORSAIR QX RGB PWM fans incorporate a patent-pending Magnetic Dome bearing. They offer efficient and quiet airflow. Each fan contains 34 RGB LEDs. The fans are set up in a push configuration on the radiator for straightforward installation. Connections are simplified with a 135mm slim 90° cable to the fan nearest to the distribution hub. Users have control over fan speeds with PWM, including a 0 RPM mode for silent operation at low temperatures. There are preset cooling options available, including “Balanced”, “Quiet”, and “Extreme”, each with distinct PWM ranges.

Compatibility: The cooler is suitable for Intel® LGA 1700 and AMD® AM5 sockets.

Thermal Paste: The cooler includes pre-applied CORSAIR XTM70 thermal paste for efficient heat transfer
