The cooler is being tested externally on an open test bench. Upon activation, the Corsair logo and a lower-positioned 'ring' will illuminate with an LED color. It is an RGB LED system. The default setting is colour shift, which cycles through all possible basic colors. The colour may be altered; you can also set a dedicated color of choice using the iCUE program, or deactivate it if RGB is not your thing. The octagon has a Multi-Zone LED Pump Head. All are programmable with iCUE, I should note.
