The processor at 5300 MHz with a higher Voltage

We are now pushing the limits. It is important to note that Alder lake processors experience significant heat challenges when voltage levels exceed 1.30V, especially when the TDP exceeds 200W (which it does). In this test, we are applying a voltage of 1.30V and a frequency of 5300 MHz to all cores on the CPU while subjecting it to 100% stress. The IDLE results are also presented below for reference.

Even though there is still significant capacity remaining, the cooler will continuously strive to find a balance between silence and cooling capacity, with a preference for acoustics. To test the thermal threshold (the point at which the temperature becomes unsustainable), we are going to increase the core voltage in stages, starting at 1.25v and reaching a relatively high voltage of 1.30v. Most heat pipe coolers would likely fail this test and reach temperatures of around 100 degrees Celsius. LCS units tend to have more reserve capacity in these scenarios.

As the results show, the unit performs moderately well, however, once the voltage reaches 1.30v, the fans kick into higher gear, immediately demonstrating the cooling capacity as the heat curves begin to level off. It is important to note that the LCS unit has the appropriate cooling capacity to offer, but it is essential to consider that this is relative to the acoustics, as shown below. The performance of the LCS unit is a balance between the cooling capacity and noise level, which can be adjusted according to the user's preference.
