Page 3 - Pictorial #1
As always we'll discuss mainboard with the help of photo's. We think it'll get you a better idea on how the product looks and feels. An image often say's more than a thousand words. The photo's have been taken with a Sony DCS F707 at a high resolution and been scaled down towards 1024x768. You may click on the images to see the image in that resolution.
Perspective view of the mainboard. As you can immediately observe a stylish blue PCB. You'd almost think that's a Gigabyte mainboard right ;)
Top view of the PX865PE ProII. Here you can nicely look at the layout of the board. Everything is very well designed. You can clearly see how Dual Channel DDR works here. Similar memory modules are inserted in the same color connector. Slight remark here, again the retention clips that lock the memory secure are too close to the AGP slot. With a graphics card inserted your are almost sure you will not able to insert memory into DIMM slot 1 & 2
White: processor socket Blue: AGP slot Beige: 5 PCI slots Purple and Green: Memory sockets Yellow: IDE RAID controller White & Orange: IDE connectors.
Backside of the mainboard. I hear you say ooh and aah now !
Again a perspective shot, this time we can slowly make not of the backside of the mainboard. Interesting sound connectivity eh ? Let's zoom in a little at the different components of the mainboard.
