A Realtek Wi-Fi 6E module is included in the Ace Magician AM08 Pro. Performance evaluations of this WLAN module displayed average results, with data reception rates markedly outpacing transmission rates. Despite its lower transmission performance, the module should suffice for standard use. These tests were carried out utilizing the Asus Rapture GT-AXE11000 router. As a complementary high-speed data transfer solution, the LAN port supports a maximum speed of 2.5 Gbit/s.

When it comes to performance metrics, the Ace Magician AM08 Pro incorporates an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor. This choice aligns well with the mini PC's targeted applications, especially considering the integration of an adept AMD Radeon 680M iGPU into the system-on-chip (SoC). With 8 cores and 16 threads, this configuration delivers a commendable performance level.

The Ace Magician AM08 Pro Mini PC offers an intuitive design that facilitates easy access to internal components such as RAM and storage devices, without necessitating the use of any tools. However, for cooling unit maintenance, a complete dismantling of the device becomes indispensable.

While the current design allows prompt access to one side of the Mini PC, enhancing accessibility to both sides of the case, potentially via a magnetic fastening mechanism, could offer further convenience. This modification could also simplify the inclusion of an additional M.2 SSD. As of now, the Ace Magician AM08 Pro provides space for one M.2-2280 slot along with a SATA SSD port suitable for a 2.5-inch drive. Unfortunately, the present design permits easy access only to one side of the mini PC.
