No game bundles, so if a gamer is on $200~$300 an his wan't to play the new game bundles games that AMD offers 2 for free with RX 580 then there is no "but 1660TI is more efficient".
RX 580 at good discount's with 2 new games bundle is much better deal for 1080P, but if price is not a problem and you already got the games- then RTX 2060 looks better IMO.
No game Bundle with 1660TI that is aimed on tight baddget... doesn't look so smart IMO.
P.S I also like low power too, hope Navi can give ~RX 580 performance without 6pin PCIE power 🙂.

Re vram, you cant compare 8gb gddr5 vs 6gb gddr6. The 1660ti has greater mem bandwidth than the 1070 (288gb/s vs 256gb/s), so that partially offsets its 2gb deficiency. Same applies to HBM where the furyx is often seen performing above its 4gb weight at higher resolutions.
Denial
Looks like I was wrong about die size/tensor. Cool.
Anyway: Unless tons of games start utilizing mesh shaders, adaptive shading, etc - the V56 is a better purchase regardless of power imo.

Firstly, thanks HH for the excellent reviews!!
Looks like a decent card but tbh considering Vega56 has been cut to £249 in UK with 3 games, so looks like AMD moved well to undercut this product. Nice to have options in this price bracket again!

I don't see why to buy 1660Ti for for almost RTX 2060 price when with RTX 2060 you get BF5 (€59.99) or Anthem (€79.99)for FREE.
P.S- or just buy RTX 2060, get Anthem and sell it easy for ~$30 and you got better GPU and same price as 1660Ti 🙂.

those who talk about energy consumption and noise on AMD cards or have no such card in their system or just do not like it, my previous card rx56 ran 1650 core, 975 mem undervolted with watt peak at 220 in games and synthetic programs sure Nvidia is better in this area but do not go crazy. Now I have an rtx 2070 different card level.

It's incredible what they keep asking for 2016 higher-mid segment performance... (Gtx1070)...
In a less monopolistic world we would be paying under 200 for this.

If only they had hardware support for AV1 Codec. I wonder when it will be fully ready. I'd have grabbed this card in no time. No matter I've 1060 already. The DDR4 at 2667Mhz I have on my Z390 along with GDDR6 of the card and the 120 watt maximum, I would be needing nothing more.

I made this table yesterday, so today I'll update it:
As of current situation here (starting prices w/o VAT, RED cards are DEAD):
GTX 1050 3G: $142
RX-570 4G: $146
GTX 1050Ti 4G: $167
RX-570 8G $182
RX-580 4G: $190
GTX 1060 3G: $197
RX-580 8G $212
GTX 1060 6G: $227
RX-590 : $258
GTX 1660Ti: $289
Vega 56: $348 (Now ~$315, not yet confirmed here.)
GTX 1070 : $324
RTX 2060 : $353
Vega 64: $435
RTX 2070: $507
RTX 2080: $695
Radeon 7: $706
Vega 56 is still not fully obsolete as it has adequate performance per $. And high power draw is offset by practically double compute performance than GTX 1660Ti provides.
GTX 1070 is effectively killed off as other older gen cards now due to worse Perf. / $, worse power draw, practically no FP16 to talk about. (But nV does not need to care as they are almost gone from shops.)
Considering that GTX 1650(Ti) is supposedly to come next month, I wonder if all GTX 1060s will be gone too.

The table you made, do you think Vega cards are coming close to 1660Ti? Just a bit faster with more than double power consumption and heating.
Edit: Sorry, you mentioned already. It's no case.
By the way, as of now the most games I have, the GTX 1060 already can sustain solid 60FPS ( 1080p of course ) at Ultra or High settings in most of my games. Quite happy. GTX 960 vs 1060 was night and day. Although I paid full price, 280 euros, as the 1660TI costs now. But c'est la vie in tech, we all know that.

The power efficiency of this card is tremendous. Just imagine what Turing on 7nm could be...
The price needs to be a little lower, but overall, its a good card. It will probably be the new sales champion in the mid-end, like GTX 1060 was!
