ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 and BQ16 Pro Get Announced - Technical Overview Quad-Band Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Routers

ASUS unveiled two new models of quad-band compatible Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers. The ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro offers support for quad bands, including 6 GHz band x 2, 5 GHz band x 1, and 2.4 GHz band x 1, with a maximum transfer speed of 30 Gbps. On the other hand, the "ZenWiFi BQ16" supports quad bands of 6 GHz band x 1, 5 GHz band x 2, and 2.4 GHz band x 1, delivering a maximum transfer speed of 25 Gbps.

Both of these models are available as a set of two and have the capacity to cover an extensive area of 8,000 square feet (approximately 740 square meters). They are equipped with 12 internal antennas and 16 high-power front-end modules. Furthermore, they boast two 10 Gigabit wired ports, providing users with access to high-speed network connectivity, whether through wireless or wired connections.

In terms of security, these routers incorporate advanced features, including Trend Micro's "AiProtection Pro," "Advanced Parental Controls" to ensure a safe online environment for children, and VPN capabilities for establishing secure connections between different network sites.
