The PG Velocita is a higher-end product line within the Phantom Gaming family. “Velocità” is Italian for “Velocity”, and here it’s supposed to tell you that this is the top product in the PG range.

Meet the Biostar B550 GTQ motherboard. It’s a rather entry-level mATX product from the Racing series, which also includes an ATX form factor version. The design is rather attractive, with a consistent black-and-grey theme. This is a 24.4 x 24.4 cm, mATX-factor product equipped with a B550 chipset, and it offers such features as 6+4-phase power design (Dr MOS) and 1x Gigabit ethernet (the ATX version has 2.5 Gbps). Priced at about 130 USD, it’s definitely a cheap one, in the range of B450 motherboards.

Meet the Gigabyte B550 Vision D motherboard. This product from the Vision series (which includes also a Z490 motherboard) is an AMD AM4 socket product targeted at creators. Built-in the ATX form-factor, the design resembles GB’s Designaire models. Make no mistake, this is a high-end product. It should provide excellent stability, and boasts features not to be found in cheaper models.

Priced at just over 200 bucks, meet one of the smaller B550 Chipset based motherboards we review, the Mini-ITX based B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax review, at 17x17cm AROCK loaded this B550 motherboard with some good features including dual M2 slots, 2.5 GigE Ethernet, AX WIFI and a pleasantly devised VRM. Meet the ASRock B550 Steel Legend motherboard. This series from ASRock is meant to give users great stability, a boatload of features, and an attractive design, all while keeping the price quite low. This is a 30.5 x 24.4 cm ATX factor product (there’s also an mATX version available) equipped with a B550 chipset, and it offers such features as 14-phase power design, 2.5-gigabit ethernet at about 180 USD.

B550 Chipset based motherboards are among us, and there are some pretty interesting ones available. We review the B550 Aorus Pro that offers 2.5 GigE Ethernet and two M2 NVMe slots. The board price sits at roughly 179 USD and offers all the defaults you need, and a bit more.
