ConcludingFor me personally the PalmButler is the gadget of the year. It rocks my world absolutely and has to be the most innovative product I have seen this year. It's a really good alternative to playback media files on any TV set in the house. It doesn't end there though. if you are hooked onto a broadband connection then it's even possible to subscribe to certain streaming channels from real.com and watch musiv videos or listen to on-line radio channels. An example of this is included into the Palmbutler software. It's not what the Palmbutler is about of course. You and I both know that we'll use it to playback movies and MP3 and it does that in a really unique and smart way. It's not perfect though .. on three points.

• TV quality is good. But with a big-screen TV you will notice a little disturbance. Hardly noticeable but still it's there. What I did not like was that the sound you receive with the TV signal is mono. This means you need to listen Stereo/ Dolby Prologic sound though the Tuner on your tuner/receiver.
• The sound you receive on your tuner as stated is good. Yet when you crank up the volume there will be hisses and noise which can be very disturbing if you like to watch movies/media the loud way. Also movies media files can sound at a very low volume thus can sound soft.
• No playback of SVCD. This is a bug as an older software version played back SVCD just fine. Perhaps in a new software update this will be fixed.

Furthermore ladies and gentlemen from A to Z I love the PalmButler. It is ideal if you like to play back music and media files over all Tv's in your house. The antenna integration is very clever, the software fantastic and very flexible. Furthermore hardware wise this looks good up to the remote which is light, sexy and easy to use.

The PalmButler is by far not the cheapest gadget but sure is the most innovative gadget I have seen in a long time and anyone that seeks a solution for media playback on the TV I recommend to buy this set.

Last but not least, if you already have connected your PC towards a television and are satisfied with that then you can also opt the PB 1500 which is the Remote + TV-Software and still enjoy controlling the PC from your couch.
