A heat spreader does not always bring the temperature down. Rather than that, it moves the heat from the chips to the PCB, distributes it more evenly throughout the module, and eliminates potential hot spots. Theoretically, this should allow better overclocking.

Neo Forza equips the 6000 CL40 DDR5 memory modules with an aluminum heat spreader with a matte black color (like the name JetBlack could suggest). There is no light bar(s) but a plastic placeholder for the light diffuser. Overall the modules look sleek/ attractive with the triangle-shaped cutouts/Neo Forza logos and should make this memory kit appear nice in a build.

The total height of the stick is about 40 mm/1.57 inches. That’s a relatively low-profile module, so you shouldn’t encounter problems with air coolers. However, we always recommend double-checking whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.

The module weighs 43 g, so the radiator seems relatively solid.
