Fan control options/placement
Fan speed is temperature-controlled. The fan RPM range depends on what fan model you use.
Fan control on the MSI B650M Mortar WIFI can be accessed in the BIOS or MSI User Scenario app (from MSI Center) in Windows, allowing users to customize the fan curve profiles for each of the board’s five 4-pin headers. The MSI B650M Mortar WIFI provides:
- 1 x CPU Fan Connector
- 1 x Pump Fan Connector
- 3 x System Fan Connectors
There is a CPU fan connector on the left side of the DDR5 slots. There are two headers for the pump fan + system fan (1), placed above the RAM slots on the top-right side.
One fan connector is placed above the first PCIe slot on the bottom-left side of the socket.
