Stage 3 - Liquid Nitrogen (LN2)
It only takes a minute or two with a hair dryer, and then you're back on the road. Again, don't be shy with the dielectric grease or everyone's favorite, Vaseline : )
So here we have everything prepped and ready for a serious LN2 run. We have so many LN2 pots to fill continuously that we hired a cute assistant to help out. Later on in the article we'll happily demonstrate her ;)
Multi-meters with thermal sensors, lots of them. These are Flukes with the K-type temperature bead probe that can manage -200 C.
If you look at the temperatures on the right, you'll spot that we start by cooling the processors. We just reached -55 Degrees C after pouring LN2 in the pots.
