Specification and Unboxing

So we have been reviewing Corsair headsets ever since their genesis, their first wireless headset was (if I recall correctly) the V2000, that was replaced by the Vengeance 2100. New is the Virtuoso RGB Wireless (SE) positioned in a premium segment of the market using all wireless slipstream technology.

The Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE comes in a suitable box with a premium feel, a nice cloth pouch is inserted, the packing brings that premium unboxing feel to it. The huge advantage for this headset is that it is totally wireless, and with a good range as well; we reached 10~15 meters quite easily. The wireless connection is based on Corsair Slipstream technology. It is wirelessly compatible with PC and PS4 as well as wired USB and 3.5mm analog connections for wide flexibility.

Included in the packaging you can find the wireless gaming headset, Slipstream dongle (wireless USB adapter), 1.5m 3.5mm stereo cable, 1.5m USB charging cable, quick start guide, safety leaflet and warranty card (you receive a two-year warranty with this product).

The headset is not at all heavy but not light either at around 360g / 0.79lb. After inserting the USB dongle, the kit will self0install and link up. For added functionality (Eq and RGB) please do download the iCUE software (download). Once you plug the dingle in and select the Slipstream switch headset is fact plug and play.
