We tested the memory both with the default XMP profile (3200 MHz) as well as overclocked/tweaked to 3600 MHz. The 3200 MHz scores are in the 44~47 GB/s range, very nice.

The reviewed memory kit is rated at 3200 MHz when you use the XMP in BIOS. But what if you’d want to achieve more? I’ve checked it by setting the voltage up to 1.4 V, and then gradually increased the frequency until I got any signs of lack of stability. For us, 3600 MHz with CL17 was possible and gave the best result (3700 MHz was in a reach with CL 18, but the performance was lower). That’s a very noticeable increase in frequency, possible mainly owing to Samsung’s B-Die memory chips.

Here we have 46 GB/s, and up to even 53 GB/s. The 3600 MHz kit is more expensive, but in the reviewed kit you can achieve even more, as it’s CL17 rather than CL18. You can get there without much effort (but it depends on many variables, like the motherboard, bios version, or memory chip series).
