We review the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro, optimized for Ryzen processors, and in specific the new Ryzen 2000 / Zen+. The new B450 series chipset based board offer some more appealing value, as budget wise these board sell at a sub 125,- USD/EUR price point, and Gigabyte certainly chucked this board full with features. So much so that you cannot really look at it as a budget offering anymore.

Windows Defender Scores Nearly as good as any Anti Virus software
German test lab AV-Test tested many virus scanners for Windows 10. The end result shows that there hardly is a difference in the actual detection rate of them nasty critters. AV-Test tested 18 different home user security products, 11 were rated at “Top Product”, surprizingly among it is Windows Defender (which is free).

DRAM Surplus Expected in 2019
Will DRAM prices go down in 2019? The chatter indicates it, recent capacity ramps by Micron Technology and the planned kick-off of commercial production by China-based Fujian Jin Hua Integrated Circuit and Innotron Memory (previously known as Hefei ChangXin) could lead to oversupply for the memory in 2019.

Intel to further delay its first 10nm processors to late 2019
Some interesting remarks have been made by Intel during a quarterly financial discussion, an Intel representative mentioned that data center products will be followed by desktop processors fabbed at 10nm at the earliest by 2019. So, long story short, all procs for another year will be based on 14nm.
