The packaging is typical for Corsair – a traditional black/yellow design.

The solid design (the headset weighs 352 g) features ear cups with on-ear controls and internal memory foam. The HS80 Max has two 50 mm neodymium-magnet drivers, and that usually offers the best sound as far as I'm concerned. They provide good volume levels and clarity with some bass distortion. The huge advantage of this headset is that it is wireless (based on Corsair Slipstream technology) and with a good range; we reached up to 12 meters, not the 50ft / 15 meters Corsair is stating, but it's still good. It is wirelessly compatible with PC, mobile devices (thanks to the Bluetooth implementation), and PS4/PS5.
