ASUS has unveiled a new addition to their TUF series graphics cards, incorporating a semi-passive cooling system for efficient temperature regulation. This system activates three fans when the GPU reaches a specific temperature threshold. To enhance durability, the card's structure is significantly reinforced, preventing sagging.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics card is engineered to enhance gaming and creative applications. It incorporates ray tracing, Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), and AI-assisted technologies. Utilizing the AD103 silicon, similar to the RTX 4080, this card activates 66 streaming multiprocessor clusters. This configuration results in 8448 shader cores, 66 RT cores, 264 Tensor cores, 264 Texture Mapping Units (TMUs), and 112 Raster Operations Pipelines (ROPs). The RTX 4070 Ti Super has a 256-bit wide memory interface with 16GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory.

With a weight of just over 1300 grams it measures around 31 centimetres in length, featuring a 3-slot design for easy integration into most devices. This design not only adds to its visual appeal but also contributes to better air circulation due to the vented backplate. Additionally, the card utilizes the 12VHPWR connector for its power requirements.

A notable feature of the RTX 40-series is NVIDIA's exclusive provision of power adapters for both the Founders Edition and custom-designed boards by partners. For power, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER uses a triple-slot design and is powered by a single 16-pin connector, with a maximum power consumption of 285 W. It offers various display outputs, including 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DisplayPort 1.4a, and connects to the system through a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface. As NVIDIA prepares to phase out the Ampere lineup, the ADA series takes its place, offering faster and similarly priced cards. With 8448 shading cores, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will be close(r) to 4080 performance.

This card offers two BIOS settings: Performance and Quiet mode. In our tests, these modes showed hardly any performance variance compared to the reference performance, with differences in temperature and noise levels due to fan speed adjustments.

The Quiet mode registers a low noise level of 32-33 dBa. The card's turbo (Boost) frequency sits at reference as well, achieving a clock speed of 2610 MHz combined with an effective memory speed of 21 Gbps. This graphics card is particularly adept at 2560x1440 resolutions with leeway to Ultra HD at 3840x2160 pixels, offering a blend of sleek design and sophisticated performance.
