The ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Edition features a ventilated backplate and maintains a compact size with a length of approximately 31 cm. Weighing around 1300 grams, it is on the heavier side. Its efficient cooling is attributed to a sleek, dark shroud that covers the heat sink array, ensuring effective temperature regulation. This aspect is further explored in the following section. ASUS has equipped the card with a dual BIOS system, offering pre-set quiet and performance modes (with the latter being the default). While the clock rates stay the same in both modes, the BIOS primarily alters the fan curve. Switching to silent mode slightly decreases noise at the cost of a small increase in temperature.
For installation, the card occupies three slots in a computer system. In terms of connectivity, the RTX 4000 series includes HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. These ports enable 8K 60 Hz HDR output through a single HDMI cable, despite the absence of the DP 2.1 standard.

The airflow mechanism involves one fan drawing air in and expelling it from the sides of the card, while another fan directs air through the fin stack and outwards.
The cooling system integrates heat pipes that connect to a vapour-chamber plate, efficiently dissipating heat from the GPU and memory components. For power management, the cards feature a 12VHPWR power connector header, complemented by a converter cable linked to 8-pin connectors. The product package includes relevant documentation and an adapter for converting 8-pin PCIe power inputs to a 12-pin power connector. Users are advised to maintain a 3-4cm clearance from the plastic connector and to avoid bending the cable near it for safe functionality.
