Yet another boring product... barely beating the "Ti" without the super.
The extra memory is nice... but damn, probably 1000 euro for a big nothingburger.

Yup, saw it coming after specs leaked earlier. 4080 Super will be another nothingburger, as specs bump for that is even smaller. Now it makes sense why 4070 Super was the first one to review and release.
Well, now we know why it's coming in at the same MSRP. The 4070S wasn't amazing but was a decent bump. Unless you need the memory it actually makes more sense to get a 4070Ti on offer than this. I had very little expectations but even those were dashed. Cue the Hercules disappointed meme.

Are you telling me you don`t like nothingburgers? 😱:D
TL;DR, compared to 4070 Ti:
1080p: 5% faster
1440p: 8% faster
4K: 10% faster
And IMO better longevity of the card if you intend to keep it for at least 5 years since by 2029 or 2030, I'm sure 16GB will be minimum. I would say if you buy a GPU every 2 years or so, maybe find a cheaper 4070 Ti while they still exist. If your next GPU upgrade is gonna be near the year 2030, get the Ti S for the extra VRAM.
Do you really think its card is powerful enough to run PT/RT?
Yes?
mackintosh:
Sure. At 1080p.
What games are you guys even talking about. I feel like I live on a different planet. How am I able to play tons of games with RT enabled at QHD but this card, nearly 20-30% faster is not?
And when did RT specifically become the only Nvidia feature?
Undying:
I would rather game at 4k with 7900XT no RT.
If you don't have a 4K monitor - which 95% of steam user base doesn't - then what's the point? lol
Why are we making these insane comparisons and arguments? If you want to say the card is overpriced for the features then say it. It 100% is - so is every card. But there is value-add with Nvidia features and saying like "it can't run RT" is just nonsense. There's plenty of RT enabled games that this card can run at QHD or even 4K with DLSS 3.
Curious, was just looking at HUB and the RT results @ 1440p. Even the 3080 smokes the XT. Other RT results showed similar.

You know Cyperpunk and Alan Wake do perform better on nvidia cards but overall RT performance including other games like Spiderman, RE4 and UE5 games using lumen 7900XT performs alot better. Ofc if your gaming at 4k you really want to disable all that and 7900XT do outperform 4070ti super by 10% and its 10% cheaper so thats 20% delta in favor of AMD.
And even the 3080 is too slow for RT, unless you want super blurry DLSS performance RT reflections.
(And don't think about using RR with DLSS performance in 1440p, even quality already looks super dirty and smeary.)

Since we are all just making stuff up:
AMD's image quality, especially with FSR, is dirty and smeary on all games. In RT they can't even render shadows on ground elements properly. Probably why the performance is better in the games you guys are listing because half the elements aren't even rendered properly.

You are correct with DLSS. Fortunately we've moved on to DLSS3 😀. And its perfectly playable @ 58 avg FPS in the example I posted while the XT was not.
