Here we have the goods. This is what you need to look for in the stores. The kit contains everything you need, up-to the coolant.
The aluminum radiator that comes with the kit. The large radiator fan features an adjustable speed controller, allowing the user to alter the volume output of the cooling setup. The fan can operate as low as 1200 RPM and still keep the radiator cool enough to be effective.
The backside of the radiator. Here we can see the in and outflow connections and a fan header / cable.
Here (on the right) we see that the water pump (white block on top) is merged onto the reservoir and Gigabyte claim this is done in order to free up space inside the chassis. In the end I'd like to see these two seperated as it is a big unit that is hard to place inside a PC. Two smaller parts would have worked better. It's leak free and easy to fill. Once powered up and with enough fluid in the reservoir a blue LED will light up.
The water pump features a ceramic shaft for reliability and life expectancy (20000hrs). Additionally, the 3D Galaxy Liquid Cooling System features LWP (Low Water-level Protection) and OHP (Over Heating Protection) that powers the system down if the water level falls below the standard mark or the temperature gets too high, and that's a great feature !
To your left you can see two 4-way splitters (with valves) have been included for easy installation of VGA and or chipset water blocks. Add a VGA card, connect it to a by-pass and open up the valve. Really great stuff ! Also great if you need to drain the system; simply attach tubing, lead it outside the PC and drain it.
