Copilot... lol One of the most stupid thing added, most of the time it fail to do what it is intended to do, or miss the target, on my test computer. Copilot help the pilot on plane or race car... It doesn't make the thing more hard for the pilot: useless.

In the meantime, lots of people noticed a performance drop in some games (win 11, allegedly tends to decrease fps, compared to win 10). I would not be surprised if the evil empire is doing this intentionally, being bribed by hardware producers (we got to keep our production facilities busy).

Haha, I saw this first hand. A friend took me up in his plane on a search and find game and his co-pilot kept wanting to divert somewhere off target. They ended up having a blazing row and not talking to each other while I was sat in the back. I had to intervene and tell them how stupid this is (meaning the co-pilot but didnt want to aggravate him further). They shook hands shortly after and the rest of the flight went cordially. Hard to forget and was a great fun day apart from that 🙂

I disabled that Co-Pilot thing from Gpedit, before the update that made it available to everyone. I just want an OS.

What kind of plane were you on that required 2 pilots? From my experience elder copilot usually make things harder for pilot 😛

Yes, the software maker of an OS is being bribed by hardware manufacturers to make their latest OS slower than the previous OS..................... Makes sense for the software company and their future OS releases. That same software company who is worth 2-3 trillion dollars is taking bribes from smaller companies worth half as much or less....... https://media.tenor.com/dGI6rH449bMAAAAC/right-dr-evil.gif

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.

In some countries, the one step forward and two steps backwards is a very popular dance.;):p

Shocking news: When you let Far Cry 5 benchmark run on Windows 7, it will also dip a bit less low than on Windows 10. Thanks, Obama...

Microsoft forgoes the "step forward" and only does the "two steps backwards" part.

They once wrecked Battlefield 3 CPU performance on Windows 10 via normal updates. 😀 But such cases should have become less likely, with modern games shipping with DX12 Agility SDK.

It didnt require 2 pilots, was a small propeller plane, the type evades me it was was a while back. The co-pilot acted as navigator, badly lol.

W11 has been train of disasters . Arguably worst windows since Vista . I DO regret upgrading from W10

Fine by me, games run flawlessly

The only use I have for Windows 11 is to get video to play smoothly on a very awkward new TV. On Windows 10 video playback jerks unless not played full screen on this Samsung OLED TV, yet my other 2 Samsung QLED displays (an UW monitor and older TV) both play smoothly. Windows 11 resolves this on the new OLED so I only use it for movies. I still game on Windows 10 though cos Windows 11 is a pita.

It's for that i fired my wife from the copilot seat, unless we would have divorced. Now it's a friend of mine who read the roadbook.

I haven't had any showstoppers with W11 yet, so by that metric it's been a stable, and reliable OS for me. That said - I simply don't like it. It still feels like a weird patchwork of ideas haphazardly stitched together that tries to be more than it should, and that's without even mentioning all the potential privacy issues that come with it.
