The November 14 update of Windows 11, specifically targeting versions 23H2 and 22H2, has successfully addressed a bug impacting AMD systems. This issue, initially identified following the release of KB5032190 on September 26, caused user settings in the Adrenalin software, including overclock configurations, to reset after each system reboot. The problem primarily affected various AMD profile settings such as 'rage mode' and CPU overclocking.

With the introduction of the November 2023 Update, Microsoft has effectively resolved these compatibility challenges. Users are now able to maintain their customization settings and preferences post-reboot. To fully benefit from these improvements, it is recommended that users operate on Adrenalin software version 23.10.2 or later, in coordination with Windows 11 KB5032190, part of the November 2023 Patch Tuesday. Feedback from numerous users indicates the patch's effectiveness in resolving the aforementioned AMD issue. However, it is advised that users encountering continued problems post-update should explore other potential causes, as the recent Windows 11 update may not be responsible.

On the other hand, this update has also introduced new challenges. Microsoft has acknowledged issues regarding desktop icons in multi-monitor setups, particularly for those using Copilot. Additionally, reports of bootloop incidents have emerged, as documented by Windows Latest. These new issues highlight the complexity and potential side effects associated with software updates in Windows environments.
