What about the option to install games on different drives or folders?

The G-sync/FreeSync is still obscure to me. It means that we do not need anymore a dedicated monitor (rigged with hardware to allow G-sync/Freesync)? Or it means that the drivers are now native?

G-sync/Freesync turned on means for UWP that V-sync and 30/60Hz framerate locking are turned off, which was impossible up to now with UWP. You'll still need the monitors as that has zero to do with UWP. The videocard and monitor have to be able to continuously communicate how long it takes for each frame to be rendered and released to the display, so the timing isn't 30/60 but continuously variable in milliseconds, a variation MS didn't allow in UWP as it's a stupid f@cking app store before anything else.

Will my Windows Experience Index tell me how well my UWP titles will run on each device?
Nope. Windows Experience Index persists only to not broke compatibility with older application using it. But that's not a tragedy: WEI was a failure since the beginning, it never worked well.
WEI is gone in Win10 afaik.

Gone = not graphically shown to the final user. If you run shell:games is still there (except you deleted the WinSat performance file). Windows is like never completely remove an API or library support (of course there are some exception but they are really few).

Eww, really? Well, if they never remove APIs then OK, I guess I'm buying that.

I will never buy a game on windows store i like to use mods in my games and i use nvidia inspector instead of the nvidia control panel and also to make game profiles and tweaks ,i will be staying on win 7 for next few years , microsoft should stick to the xbox let the pc be an open platform, windows 10 is spyware harvesting your personal data and you lose your right to privacy and really all it has is dx12 if win 7 and win 8.1 got dx12 , win 10 wouldnt be very popular
Because the windows store is the only way to buy and install games on windows 10 ? funny i have all my games on Steam, origin and other and i dont to pass by them.. I dont like UWP, i dont buy game from it and continue to buy them from Steam.

MS fixed what should never been broken in first place and they praise themselves. I'm still not buying this UWP "gaming". I will not buy any UWP game. I'm not a W10 hater as I use W10 on my main PC but I do not like the "app" approach on PC gaming. It will be better for all of us for Vulkan to succeed and take on DX12 but like in past it may fail too despite seem good. All depends on devs. They will choose the API they want to work with.
Not only that, installing a MS exclusive game forces you to download it as an app and then doesn't tell you that it re-configures your Windows log in to a MS account. I am used to logging in local and after downloading and checking out Forza Beta my log in was changed by default. I was so irritated I uninstalled the game, changed my log in back to local and rooted out any traces of Xbox.

You can set it so that it logs in per app only, so that is really a non-issue. It even asks you this when you first log in.

When you signed in the Windows Store with a Microsoft account you can decide to simply log-in without convert a local account to a Microsoft account. You do not need a Microsoft Windows account to buy or to download any Windows Store application, you can just use a Microsoft account as it was a simple web login for the store or for a single application only.
