AMD is super lame in marketing. maybe they have thought they can launch big navi before 3000 series. Anyway, I think there will be two cards at the high-end(ish) range, both around the 3070 in terms of performance, but with 16 and 12GB of RAM
If its atleast close to 3080 and offering 16gb thats enough or me or anyone who is concerned about 10gb not being enough.

Stop being jealous or nervous of amd, for God's shake. What if their smallest rdna2 gpu is slower than 2080ti and all the others are faster? You still believe 3090 will be untouched by a whole pallet?

Best case scenario is that big N beats 3070 in most titles, just keeping it real, and also if AMD were the ones leading the charge with ray tracing i'd be all over them, but they ain't. I'm pretty sure CP2077 ray tracing will be basically nvidia territory. I'd love to think AMD caused nvidia to go more price /performance but it was the new consoles.

Then cdpr will be closed. They are smaller than amd you know. Please get real. They cannot abandon Ray Tracing performance of amd, many more gamers will use amd gpus with true raytracing. Both amd users pc and all next generation consoles are more gamers than Nvidia fans. Stop spam and trolling.

I found this elsewhere:

Message from a user who wishes to remain anonymous: "I've read in other sources that there will be three tiers (at least) of Big Navi GPUs. This looks like it could be data from the lowest tier which may be called the 6700. The 6900 card is supposed to have performance that is significantly higher. Perhaps even between the 3080 and the 3090. Of course, it's all speculation right now. Either way, the competition between Nvidia and AMD is a win for the consumer. I have no brand loyalty- whichever one gives me the most performance for the money will be my choice."

Its running on both consoles and have raytracing what makes you think desktop amd gpu wont have it? Makes no sense. If nothing it will run better on amd becouse its optimized for the hardware.

Any more spamming and trolling nonsense talk and you're on the block list, trying to get me in trouble putting words in my mouth? I truly believe CP2077 will have most RT options greyed out for amd, at least thats what i'd bet on. I'm not happy about it.

There will be six tiers as far as at papers this time around. 6700/6700xt 6800/6800xt 6900/6900xt 6900xt should be more powerful than stock 3090 theoretically at least. We don't know if it will be a 2020 or 2021 gpu. Amd will fight seriously this time, accept it. I would only buy nvidia because of drivers qa not of performance. 🙄 And for sure we know amd will not provide cheaper gpus. I wonder if you give 1499€ for 3090 would you give 1549€ for 6900xt?

Finally some common sense, I will wait and see Nvidia is pricing the 3k series low for a reason either they are going for a knockout to really nail AMD or they know what is on the Horizon, as Studios have had RDNA2 for a while to develop for consoles I would say the latter is the case
Low pricing? Where? The MSRP is literally the same as in the previous gen, which was pretty high. The only difference we'll get a decent perf increase this time, but this might be due to the fact that their 2000 series had shitty sells (according to steam, the most popular 2000 card is the RTX2060, which still is below 3% in share)

This result could be good, if it's the 64CU version of RDNA2.

dude you are 100% wrong, xbox and ps have amd rdna2 with ray tracing and cp2077 will work on both, if anything ray tracing will be better optimised on AMD platform, saying that Nvidia wil still have better overal FPS with RT On

no they don't they have custom rdna

What makes me wonder, why are those dx11 benchmarks? Why not dx12? Since AotS was pretty prominent on being one of the first dx12 benchmark games, as well as handling AMD dx12 pretty decent, in comparison to Pascal back then.

I get that, but think about it CP2077 is gonna look crap on consoles compared to pc that's no1, no2 is this: Currently, how many RT games out there can you enable those effects on with an AMD gpu?

You will be able to use every effect with rdna2 hw capable rt. Whats the issue here?

Its part of a ms dx12u its not exclusive to nvidia. Even intel capable gpus will use all the effects.

EDIT: rdna2 is like nvidia with it's rt cores then?

This rumor is bad for AMD - even at rumor level - again comparing their new generation product to an older generation product of the competition (they could compare with the "rumored" benchmarks of the new Ampere series since it still at rumor level)...I'm tired of this - "Oh, yes we still can't fight them but look at our prices.. competitive and so on...wait for polaris because this time we will rock, wait for vega because this time we will really rock, wait for, wait for"... I'm waiting the next rumor abour their ray tracing capabilities - also at RTX2080Ti level???
