Capcom has announced Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, the Resident Evil franchise's first CG drama series. It will stream via Netflix in 2021. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is based around the stories of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, and "adds suspense into dynamic action scenes" to "reveal a Resident Evil world unlike anything seen before.". It is executive produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Capcom), produced by TMS Entertainment, and animated by full 3D animation studio Quebico, which worked on the 2017-released Resident Evil: Vendetta.
