You can already buy the bulk without the box 7900GRE for 599€ in EU so same price as 4070Super.

If I remember right this technically a 7900xt chopped down enough to pretty much match the 7800xt ....no (give or take)

This should have been the 7800xt, and 7800xt should have just been a 7800. AMD screwed up. We all know that anyone with a 6800xt wouldnt go 7800xt if it was the GRE but anyone below a RX 6800 prolly would and be a solid upgrade. GPU space still sucks. Ive had my 6800xt over 3 years and only gpu upgrade was the 7900xtx. Even with a water block, still cheaper then a RTX 4080 without a block.

It's been some time now that it's available in Greece. Right now you can get one for a bit more than 600€. Not worth it, since it's not a lot more powerful than a 7800XT, and you can get a 7800XT for about 500€. Or, you can get a 7900 XT for ~700€.

If this means 7800xt price drop, it would be good. I'd gladly swap my 3070 for a sub 500 7800xt. Atm they are more like 600 in my country.
