It's their marketplace. Do you oppose of Nintendo and Sony not allowing Adult games on their systems as well?

Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all have PEGI 18 games on their respective consoles.

Yes they do but in the US all of those games receive a Mature 17+ rating. So as Brasky said "It's your countries rating system that is to blame".

I guess the Windows 8 Marketplace is intended for use by children and not adults then? Perhaps Windows 8 is being targeted at children, that could explain all the large icons and large buttons and the new start menu screen.

I'm sorry but "PEGI 18" and "Mature 17+" seems like the same thing to me. If Windows 8 is indeed allowing Mature 17+ games and making exceptions in the European market then I suppose it's ok.

hmmm I'm in the UK and my copy of Skyrim is rated 15 bbfc and MA 15+, no PEGI rating at all

Not one of you would buy from the Windows Store anyway, so why do you care? Further, most of you have expressed that you will never use Windows 8 anyway.

haha, true. I am pretty sure I will not be "upgrading" to Touchscreen 8.
