Martijn is from the Netherlands and he has been working on a project for a while now, it's not your average PC alright as it is a bare-bone exoskeleton slash inverted OC with visible components. It has to be the weirdest yet intriguing build you have seen to date, not everybody will like it but everybody will agree with one thing, this is very unique. He names his box Project Inverted.

DigiTimes learned from Taiwanese phone makers that demand for Windows Phone 8 devices it not expected to be strong: While Nokia, HTC and Samsung Electronics will launch Windows Phone 8 (WP8) devices beginning in November, in line with Microsoft unveiling the mobile operating system on October 29, market demand for such smartphones is not expected to be considerably large due to the time taken for consumers to learn the operating system and strong competition from iPhone and Android models, according to market watchers.

ARM Cortex-A50 3x faster and very energy-efficient 64-bit CPU

ARM is talking about its Cortex-A50, a series of energy-efficient 64-bit processors that will become available in 2014. ARM announced the new ARM Cortex-A50 processor series based upon the ARMv8 architecture, extending ARM’s leadership in performance and low power. The series initially includes the Cortex-A53 and Cortex-A57 processors and introduces a new, energy-efficient 64-bit processing technology, as well as extending existing 32-bit processing. The scalability of the processor series enables ARM partners to create system-on-chips (SoCs) that address diverse markets, from smartphones through to high-performance servers.

IBM Creates 10,000 Transistor Carbon Nanotube Computer Chip

IBM has just reached a new pretty significant milestone. They have created a new computer chip based on carbon nanotube technology that has more than 10,000 transistors. This is a far cry from the current generation of silicone-based microprocessors, but it does demonstrate a lot of potential for carbon nanotubes moving forward. As you might remember, carbon nanotubes are constructed with sheets of cabon that are just a single atom thick, rolling them into a cylinder.

Okay it is not really surprising, it has been revealed that Infinity Ward is currently working on the next instalment of the immensely popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise. Captain Price actor Bill Murray accidentally let slip to a journalist on a flight that he is reprising the role of Price. Modern Warfare 4 is expected to be released next November. Bill Murray: "Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4, I'm doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games..."

Intel 20nm NAND based SSD 335

Intel launched the SSD 335 series, the company's first solid state disk line that uses 20nm MLC NAND flash memory from IMFT, a joint venture between Micron and Intel. The SSD 335 is a 6Gbps SATA SSD that is solely available with a capacity of 240GB. It's based on the SandForce SF-2281 controller and it's essentially the same as the SSD 330, but with 20nm NAND flash memory instead of 25nm.
