Not bad at all...

I am slightly confused. The specs say max refresh rate is 240Hz. 480Hz Oled sounds really good.

Call of Dual

Hmm... but who wants to use it at 1080p, ever? 1440p 360hz would have been more attractive.

the 32 inch 4k variant really intrigues me. However I have quite a few doubts with the gsync compatibility only. Does that mean it has no physical gsync module? Also what is the peak and sustained brightness? Is it still the first or the 2nd gen oled displays, because it doesnt look like the qd-oled.

I've been waiting so long for a 32" 4K 240Hz OLED. -edit- 1080p mode on a 32" LOL

Unfortunately burn in is still a huge problem for PC monitors. Fair enough if you can afford to buy these once a year and longevity is of no concern to you, but for the rest of folks this just isn't practical. My current LCD monitor is 7 or 8 years old. It still looks as good as the day I bought it. I'm not hiding taskbar or dekstop icons, I'm not using black wallpaper. So with my usage if I had OLED it would probably have burn in in less than a year heh.

New selling buzz words just dropped. Dual-Hz. The kids will be all about it soon.

This is pretty much game over for LCDs of any kind. OLED caught up in refresh rate, while having everything else superior. In 2024+, anyone buying a "high-end" $1000+ LCD is just insane. Although, I guess LCD will continue to exist as entry-level and mid-range products, as OLED is, for the moment, still too expensive.

Burn in will keep many away from oled monitors for a while.

Yeah, but this is a gaming monitor advertising a 480Hz refresh rate option limited to 1080p at 32". My other rig has a 32" 1440p monitor and that resolution looks low on it.

I get what youre saying, it's definitely weird for a 4k panel to have a full hd res opption, even though the frequency is quite tasty

Nice, but this monitor would be my bet for next year, dominating the field in '24

My OLED CX with 9000h screen on time is still fantastic that I have no need to buy newer model, granted I only use 40% brightness to keep a healthy eyesight

Except for the fact that it does not use the standard RGB subpixel structure and therefore, it has issues with text rendering.

Please tell me more, love to hear it ! I've been using an LG OLED TV as my main desktop display for both productivity and entertainment in the last 3 years.

How much effort have you put in to prevent wearing it out fast? How many hours/day average does it get used for PC desktop?

There aren't any text clarity issues with my LG 27GR95QE-B and in regards to burn-in I'm probably overly cautious (black wallpaper, no desktop icons, taskbar set to auto-hide, power off after 10 minutes of idle, screen move enabled, etc). Currently, I have 2,000 hours on it without any burn-in.

Like DirtyDee above, no wallpaper, no desktop icons, dark mode, using an old school screensaver. And I turn it off when afk for more than 30 mins. Other than that, pretty much normal use.

Yeah, it got plenty of use for sure ! Guess what ? No burn-in. Newsflash: only those that intentionally run "tests" to check for burn-in, actually get burn-in, stuff like leaving it on CNN 24/7 at max brightness, or leaving MS Excel on with a white background non-stop for hours and hours a day...
