doh , even those who made the demo seem struggling to maintain satisfactory framerates . The current hardware is not mature enough. Remind me of the first implementation of tessellation.

Really struggling at 0:16. Looks like less than 30FPS there and stuttering when showing the sword at 0:48. Maybe Nvidia just wants to be honest; showing you how the performance will be instead of trying to hide it. 😛

in all demos i have seen the glossines of the materials are just too exaggerated

Looks like when a five year old discovers reflectance channel in 3D software 😀

24fps are enough for cinematic gaming though 😀

I cant even imagine how Metro will run. 😀

Can't wait until dlss starts getting used in games. Ray tracing can take its time because it's not ready yet.

The skin looks awful in this game. The reflections sure look nice with RT on, sadly it will take 1/2 more years until it properly functions.

It would be nice if they showed 0:17 with it off as it looks sub 20fps at this point, and for some reason the only scene in which there is no comparsion used with it disabled. It does look very nice though, hopefully it gets added to as many games as possible, as even if it's not 100% playabvle now it means that in the future people will have a better back catalog of software. Maybe even add it now with the option of On/Off/Cutscenes Only.

Undying:

Metro has it easy. They do not need accuracy, nor 32bit depth as they are not going for reflections. Lighting system has one additional advantage on top of that. It does not have to recalculate all data every frame.

FPS are too low... and it's too reflective, not realistic at all No thank you, I'll keep my old setup with high FPS until you get your sh!t together

Wasn't this game free to play with limited characters or is that another hack and slash game?

you might have been referring to For Honor ( ubisoft ) game. Justice is closely related with Honor , so , don't worry about the mixup.

No it looks similar to this, Japanese hack and slash with lots of enemies, was posted here not long ago.. I think, weird I saw a performance review on some site too, and now when I checked I can't find it either xD

Good. Now if only customers could get their 2080ti to actually use RTX

It's more like less than 20 fps at that scene.

All these DLSS-enabled games to choose from, can't decide which one to play.
