Zotac now as well releases a GDDR5X version of the GeForce GTX 1060 named GTX 1060 6 GB G5X Destroyer. These have been fitted with GDDR5X and a GP104 GPU, and that's the one used on the GTX 1080.

ASUS is now listing the new 32-inch ROG Strix XG32VQR display, offering users a large FreeSync 2 HDR compliant VA panel with a wide color gamut (125% sRGB) and a high 144Hz maximum refresh rate. The monitor is an update to the ROG Strix XG32VQ, and has stronger backlighting up to 450 cd/m².

Microsoft began rolling out Intel's new countermeasure code against the Spectre V3a, Spectre V4 and L1TF vulnerabilities through Windows Update. It starts with a patch for the latest version of Windows 10, version 1809 October 2018 Update, and Windows Server 2019.
