I just don't get RGB and its such a big thing now days. I think RGB is for people who don't get computers. Am I right or am I right!

They have the Ripjaw series without RGB and without the finger damaging heatsinks. I think they have identical chips as this kit, because mine runs 6200MHz 30 40 40 96 with 2x32GB, limited by the 7800x3d at 1:1.

I thought this too with their DDR4 kits, but I think that actually put the better ICs with the RGB kits. I tested the DDR4 Ripjawz vs the Tridents that had the same speed and timings on 5950X systems and consistently got much better latencies with the Trident kit. Like 10-12ns better.

Got the same kit. Thought i'd punch in your OC settings, but then i looked at the difference aaaaand.. risking instability for placebo is a no-no.

But they also have the same ram without RGB, it's less expensive and work the same (and don't make you blind lol).

It's not due to that, but on the lucky/unlucky factor: exemple: on one of the PC i have DDR4 2400 flareX and it OC without touching anything exept speed to the ripjaw 3600 timing, and i had royal DDR4 4000 on my other computer that just cannot maintain correct setup, i sell them and i get ripjaw DDR4 (and make benefit 🙂 ) that reach it without problem. Both pair of ram are the same and so should be equivalent... but they are not A bit like 2 car bought the same day from the same factory... when you check the engine the HP and torque might be totaly different despite the same (i was lucky i had more torque 🙂 )
