I can basically wait forever. No problem here. lol

I waited 4+ years, I can wait a bit longer...
I'll only upgrade when I can get at least double the performance of my current old 1080 for no more than what I paid for it back in 2016.
(Which should be possible with a RX 6800 if it was actually at MSRP)

Current gen might return to MSRP once next gen has been out in large numbers for a while.
If mining still is even remotely profitable on current gen in a year or so...who knows
Dont count on ETH as the end all for mining either. Things can change quickly.
A $1200 4080/7800 will still sell well in a year or so is my guess.

As in EU without being in it we are at MSRP, and so the +25% for EU seem true as it is around the taxes % that we don't pay at all on EU's price.

Doom and gloom everywhere. All it needs is a little more nudge on eth price for miners to flood the second hand market. And when that happens at least for a while I believe strongly that we will get below msrp cards.

450€ for a 6600 non-xt on average amazon average prime reseller... is fraud :V and +25% my ass
Undying

2nd hand gpu from miners = junk. the 400-420 shitcards are fake new cards (aka come from PRC miners) of XFX. Better wasting money in a hooker.

It's just the memory on used miners cards you need to be careful with, the chips will be like new pretty much.

I wouldn’t trust an ex-mining card, but I would consider getting a 4080 at an inflated MSRP, not gonna lie.
