Could easily earn the title of the most bling-blingy-RBG overpriced, overhyped and ridiculous hardware item produced ever. But you can disagree.

Well, it does make the RTX pricing seem more reasonable. 1,000 euros? I like aesthetics but F that noise. That's crazy, even for people with too much money to burn.

It's because of the RTX pricing that we now see this!

No Worries Apple and Nvidia got bitten by their own prices , this is year it will be AMD with their Radeon VII , and obviously some mobo manufacturers. Some marketing people thought tha the sky is the limit when they put prices on stuff now it's time for them to bite the dust.

Umh, I never pay more than 130-140e. Last one was 99e down from about 130e For that price it should also contain a GPU and CPU

I don't see why people throw their toys out the pram because someone released a $1k mobo. It's not like you have to buy it. I will never buy one as expensive as this but I'll never buy a bottle of wine at a restaurant for $10k either, simply because it's massively diminishing returns after a certain point and I haven't started growing trees that grow money. Not just yet. But, if I was worth millions, sure, why not? It's refreshing to see that most of you get upset over this though, you lovely snowflakes.

I started avoiding Gigabyte for all my home machines in the past couple years. The overall product quality and experience is just not up there with Asus. 16 phases alone will not make me buy this thing, sorry Gig.

Ok instead you can go with fake 8 phase that's really a 4 phase VRM from Asus.

With that price, they better throw a 9700K with it. ๐Ÿ˜›

why would someone pay such premium on a piece of technology that would be obsolete within 2 years max is totally beyond my understanding

The Gigabyte Bios on their mobo line up is a total mess , i would take an Asus , ASRock or MSI any day over Giga crappy bios. What an overpriced piece of hardware \0/

GL with it for the milked idiots who buy it. People saying this looks nice only give ground for those people.

And I thought my ASUS Crosshair VII Hero was expensive ...lmao I'd never pay that even if I had the money I think, I'd rather buy the blocks and build the cooling system myself If I had that kind of money.

BlackZero:

What ever that means.
Obviously, our colleague got lost in translation. What he wanted to maintain is that the Asus is better than Gigabug, at least in this price range. Couldn't be more true than that - Giga is NOTORIOUS for it's buggy BIOSes and countless number of "revisions". Chaos and mess...
