Erhm, is the VRAM a secret? Its not mentioned in the info, just the 128bit bus - that means 8gb? Than its DOA. 449USD is roughly the price of 970+inflation (Ive calculated it - 330 USD in 2014 is 420USD in 2023) - so lets see. Thing is, 970 was able to beat 780 by a LOT. And we know, 4060ti will not beat 3080 as its 4070 which is on par with 3080, trading blows in a embarrassing way in 1440p loosing in 4k. This will be "fun" release. To me it appears, 40xx series just went 2 steps down.

That is a terrible GPU for 450$. And to make it worse, it's probably going to cost 550€ in Europe.

When it comes to GPUs, all the days in 2023 count as: April 1st, April 1st, April 1st, April 1st, April 1st, April 1st ... April 1st. Yay, fireworks, the year is over! Next day: April 1st

To me is this just a another shitty product from NGreedia. A tini tiny silicone die with too little Vram (8gb), a tiny 128-bit bus and on top of that it`s massively overpriced. Further more NGreedia is gonna sell this as a better product than it is with their fake frames, but i hope most people don`t get fooled by their marketing.

And the 4060 €500 🙁 Jen-Hsun Huang Jensen probably lost a bet with Lisa Su when they were both at a birthday party, making AMD sell more GPU's. It is the only logical reason. 😀

My 4090 says otherwise. It submits my 6900xt by rear naked choke for lower running costs, less heat and most importantly waaaaaaaay more powaaaaa.

US prices don't include taxes, if its €550 that makes it around €100 less than a 4070 which is probably about right (for the UK/EU.

Thats the only card from whole lineup which makes sense. Problem with that is, that me and majority of PC users will not buy such a card, not because we cant afford it, but because its too much money for a single component in a hobby of ours. When I compare what 2000 eur could provide to me and than put those options VS 4090 than 4090 is just a joke. My last trip to Egypt costed like 500e and it was a beautiful experience, swimming in a sea with big turtles and manta rays. You should have seen that PathTracing there... and the sun 😀 the framerates. Also, it just worked, no bugs. Boosted my HP and stamina. So 4090 is 4 holidays for me, during the winter. Just a example.

The average vat tax in the EU is 21%. So when there is a price increase in the EU, it really hurts. And to make it worse, here in portugal, one of the poorest countries in the EU, it's 23%. The average vat tax in the USA is 8-10%. You lucky bastards. 😀

A $1500+ GPU is not the hero that anyone using (say) a gtx1060 was asking for.

The reality is that all these people posting about how awesome is their 4090 & Co. in every damn thread, even if the topic has nothing to do with their chosen product or price class, are simply S-Grade A-Holes.

£450 for a mid range card with 8GB in 2023 Its like they are trying to encourage gamers to buy the previous gen cards

With the 4070 it seems that way. 3070 Ti is much cheaper than 4070, and 3080 costs about the same here. Maybe they'll slash the prices of the 3060(Ti) when the 4060 Ti is released?
