NVIDIA intends to unveil the latest addition to their GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, in May 2023. The company is targeting a competitive price of $449 USD, significantly lower than the recently released RTX 4070 ($149 less) and the RTX 4070 Ti ($349 less). 

The RTX 4060 Ti is anticipated to employ the 5 nm "AD106" silicon, also found in the RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. With 34 Streaming Multiprocessors (SM), the desktop RTX 4060 Ti will boast 4,352 CUDA cores, as compared to the 36 SM in the laptop version. The "AD106" silicon comes with a 128-bit wide memory interface, and NVIDIA is likely to use traditional 18 Gbps-rated GDDR6 memory chips. The primary goal of the RTX 4060 Ti is to outperform the previous-generation RTX 3070 while nearing the RTX 3070 Ti's performance. Additionally, the card will offer improved energy efficiency and advanced features such as DLSS 3. It  will have 32 MB L2 cache, which will contribute to its impressive 22 TFLOPS performance. Overall, the new graphics card is expected to provide proper performance for 1080p gaming.
