Would be interesting if fake products work better than legit MSI ones. With my luck on MSI products, I'd rather get fake one.

Someone needs to get a hand of one of these fake ones and see what it actually is. Should be easy to trace what motherboard they are using, then of course this company is putting it in an MSI box with some MSI heatsinks.

In the past yes but now it is more and more difficult. Exemple with Amazon were no one check the origin of stock, once it get a tracability from Amazon, the origin is no more checked... something like every motherboard with the same serialnumber can happen, a fake one of course. And f you follow this serial number you have a company that reside in a flat in china that can't do technicaly, computer motherboard. On other hand sometime you can have asiatic low cost that work better than pricy brand we have, i remember a X79 motherboad that were super easy to configure and ultra durable (lol) i kept it 2 year without any problem even in OC, for 1/4 the price of the lowest price. The problem is that they use the MSI branding in this case... it is still a fraud.

This has been going on forever. Not just brand counterfeiting but also cards being sold as something they're not.

Never had problems with them but my experience is limited to GPUs.
