Didn't you use to have a U2711, same as me? Did you get rid? I want another one lol:)
Yeah i did, It was my Dads but i found it too big and gave it him back, he also found it too big and was going to sell it to me. I woulda kept it but once somebody messed me around while buying my U2410 i decided to keep my U2410.

See post #13 by Norvekh, it gives a good explination of the difference. Its a minor revision, not a replacement. Like the U2410 -> U2412m.

I have the same LG panel that is in your U2711. This new one is basically just LG's new 2013 1440p IPS panel.

I think the day a 120hz TRUE IPS panel becomes available ill be the first inline to buy one, Until then i will wait patiently.:)

Actually i do think it makes a difference, but ill take IPS (Quality over Quantity) over a 120hz TN for the time being.

My IPS does 120hz at 2560x1440, But only with a 24AWG Dual-link DVI-D cable. Look up the yamakasi monitor club at OCN, specificly the information about the 2b revision model. Also 120hz.net and overlordcomputer.com have some good info on these special monitors. Yes, Warlord, it makes a massive difference. 60hz looks like a slideshow after using 96 or 120. Even 60 -> 76 on my old dell display was big.

Yeah i made a thread about them monitors on here. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=362514 Thing is i like a monitor with Good Warranty like Dell who give you 3 years no questions asked replacement. If anything goes wrong with that one from Korea then you gotta ship it all the way back there and then hope that the new one is good. So i may just hang out for a Dell.
