I don't care what other say, but i enjoyed Crysis 1 and Warhead, well until aliens, just like Far Cry until mutants 🙂 2 and 3 are meh for me, not terrible, but i don't care about them.

Who? The crytek that doesn't care about PC anymore? Don't care about them.

Businessmen and heads of Crytek shouldn't be so greedy, greed always lead to bankrupt. Of course there are other circumstances, but greed is usually the one which kills.

Good riddance. They haven't done anything worthy of note since the original Crysis, which, admittedly, was an amazing game (for a FPS) that I still occasionally revisit nearly 7 years later.

I don't care what happens so long as EA doesn't somehow benefit from this.
Personally I agree with Moab, their games sucked. I didn't even enjoy Crysis 1, the moment I found the plot had finally become interesting the game ended.

It's a shame all the same.
The original crysis I did like. I completed that one. I'm yet to complete crysis 3 - I'll get round to it at some point.
But, tbh, as people here say - its been a bit "meh" since the original crysis.
I do like the engine though, sometimes... Buuut lets face it, UE4 or Cryengine? I know which I'd prefer...

In Cryteks defence, id like to remind anyone who may or may not remember... atleasts Crytek didnt make a level/mission as terrible as Bungie's 'The Library' in Halo 1. I stopped playing the HD remake due to that level being an hour and half (not even at the end of it) of zigzagging the EXACT same hallway layout with respawning flood.
offtopic i know... but just food for thought. Nothing of what Crytek have or havent done is as terrible as that Halo mission.
Edit: seriously, Value patched up Ep 2 or 3 due to a mission, but the Library mission needs to be removed from Halo in the upcoming remake. Its that bad.

Yeah whatever, the rts genre hasn't been completely neglected, all the rpgs have been a big let down and everyone wants to make the next whiz bang fps. Who cares what happens to them, fps developers are just another drop in the ocean these days.

The low gravity mission in Crysis 1 was terrible.

You guys all fail to notice or even mention their lack of support for indie developers. They released an SDK which was fantastic and offered a lot to work with, especially visually it was just amazing. But they dealt poorly with all the indie developers, not giving them any support for the engine or development process at all. You could develop a nice tech demo on their SDK, or a mod of crysis, but if you really want to run your own code you are out of luck. They will not release source code or give you any other support unless you are a AAA developer.
Go look at a list of released Cryengine games that came from their SDK. What, you can't find any?

What a bunch of biatches there is on here, I think crytek should get some credit for pushing other studios to improve visual fidelity within games. I've never thought anything they did surpassed farcry at the time but hey still hats of to em. As for moving over to the console market, I would have 4 hardware configs instead of hundreds if not thousands in the PC arena. Jesus you guys make me wanna deny owning a ****ing gaming PC full stop.

The company does amazing technologies and demos but it has missed two very important things:
1. Gamers buy content over amazing technologies
2. Developers buy speed over amazing technologies
Their games have been low on content (and simply put: bad) and their development tools have been very unreliable and buggy. And here we are. They are basically consentrating on wrong things. Amazing technologies can be an asset, but not without all other stuff done well.

Well i guess in end, Crytek is another victim of EA´s widow´s kiss. EA has already trashed/destroyed Command and Conquer, Sim City, Syndicate, Dead Space, among others and now Crysis (Crytek) and Battlefield is going the same way.
There´s no stopping the path of destruction of great games for EA. It must be some company mission... No wonder eveybody hates EA!!!
