"photos", not "photo's" This is like some plague nowadays, everyone is sticking their apostrophes where they don't belong.

DDR4 at only 2666? What's this? We had DDR3 at 3200.

Oh please give me more, I like high numbers because they sound cool. At the end, it's not that big of a difference. Running happily @1600mhz here 🙂

Should go for some 1866 as there would be some decent difference in performance.

Turns out I have 1600mhz 🙂 I remember it not being much of a price difference Nah, no performance increases with upgrading, I believe this becomes an issue when dealing with high speed SSD's, but starting from 1600mhz, you're fine. And for gaming, not worth the extra money

Remember 2-2-2-5? Those were the days. Of course, extreme gaming was Doom, BF42, etc. Looking at a Z99 build now, mo speed and mo money! Hoorah.

Yes true that, after going from 1600mhz to 2133mhz ram=no difference in my games.

"Quad-channel DDR4 RAM along with increased frequencies could lead to a near 50% increase in bandwidth compared to the older, triple-channel solutions." UMMMM.. why are they comparing it to the x58 platform? Shouldn't they be comparing it to the x79 platform? Or are they trying to hide the fact that it will be slower than the x79 platform?

agree they should be compare it to DDR3 Quad-channel. I believe they are also hiding the fact that DDR4 cost more at the same frequency.

Not true, If you are using really high end GFX it almost impossible to see the different. Take it from a person who wasted money on upgrading the ram from 1600 to 2666

If you are going from 1333 to 1866, then yes there would be an increase in performance. Going from 1600 to 1866 or higher is indeed not worth to spend more money on as the performance increase would be minimal at best.

already version 6.29?!?
