We review the Core i7 5960X (Haswell-E) 8 core processor and 6-core 5930K and 5820K processors, we smack it on one of the long awaited X99 motherboards. Intel's most high-end processor SKUs just got updated with three new models, the top dog being the enthusiast class eight-core processor series aimed at enthusiasts and pro-consumers. The Intel Core i7-5960X and other Haswell-E chips are released into the market in September 2014 and are based on the new socket LGA2011-V3 infrastructure and DDR4 quad channel memory.
This MSI X99S Gaming 9 AC will come with nice PC options like 8-pin EPS connectors, a 7+2-phase VRM design for the processor and memory, five PCI-Express x16 slots . There is an extra EMI shield that covers the rear-panel I/O on-board, and audio is shielded as well. The board comes with a Killer E2205 gigabit NIC and 802.11 AC WLAN. Storage wise you will get ten SATA 6 Gb/s and of course an M.2 slot (PXie x4 linked this HEAPS of bandwidth).

As such the Graphite Series has been updated with model 380T we review the yellow mini tower case. Albeit being min, the 380T houses up to four 3.5in/2.5in drives and a full-length graphics card with ease.
I can't confirm or deny this myself, but there are indications from the graphics card channel at the moment that Nvidia is not naming the upcoming Maxwell GeForce graphics card series in the high-end space a GeForce GTX 870 and 880.
AMD has shared the specifications of three new Athlon X2 and X4 processors. Two quad and one dual-core are being presented, these are based on Kaveri architecture, but interestingly enough do not have an integrated GPU (or at least not enabled).
We noticed a couple of sites already posting these. But fact is the Intel embargo is lifted at 6 PM CET.
