6 banks??? - you're not robbing the banks money but lunch money from all the employees I think....:p I've had cars cheaper than this card back when I was young....granted they were not in all working condition and even safe because when you are young you are also stupid but still....God...and who knows store prices... Something strange about the price on this article: In pricing section it is written:
The founder edition GeForce RTX 4090 from NVIDIA is priced at USD 1599. The ASUS MATRIX 4090 is available at USD 3200.
In conclusions:
Even considering the additional $400 price
So it's actually 1999 USD and not 3200??? - Because I can't believe 3200 - it must be some kind of mistake....

Awesome review as always @Hilbert Hagedoorn , thanks. That is very nice looking card, but , but ... Holy Price for a gpu 😱 , i cannot stomach this price of $3,200 US Dollars , i just can't ... For that price you can buy the cheapest rtx 4090 ( $1,600US Dollars ) and a cheap Bykski fc water block ( $120US Dollars ) , flash Galax 666w extreme bios and you will have a faster card than this matrix πŸ˜› , this is exactly what i did πŸ˜€ lol .

This card is like one of those uber expensive Apple products: "it's not a device - it's a fashion statement!"
If you're financially equipped and considering something extremely cool, the ASUS ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 is a stellar choice β€” a commendable piece of hardware indeed. You'll just have to sell a kidney in order to be able to afford it.
- who needs two anyway....

So, the card is amazing, probably the best 4090, but the price is crazy! Anyway, great review.

Der8auer did a teardown, they went with liquid metal on bare copper πŸ™„ So, lot of RMAs after a few years.

Don't tell me this card only has a 2 year warranty... 😱:D

Today, we delve into ASUS's latest offering for the enthusiast segment. This release is limited to a select few. Introducing the liquid-cooled ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 - a combination of visual appeal and optimal thermal performance. https://www.guru3d.com/review/asus-rog-geforce-rtx-4090-matrix-review/
@Hilbert Hagedoorn can you confirm maximum voltage for this card is 1.07v. please ? I think is the new variant of the rtx 4090 gpu AD102-301 gpu and not the older one that's capable of 1.1v namely AD102-300 A1 and it overclocks much better. I believe this is the new gpu revision wish is bad news as it is locked to 1.07v.

Is this the most expensive geforce yet? Titan Z was 3000$. πŸ™„

Hardware unboxed has it at $4000 US....thats $3200 more than what i want to pay for any gpu, I quess Nvidia really dont want to sell any more gaming gpu`s

Spectacular at $1999 I would definitely buy this, at $3200 I’m not looking to make that statement. compare and contrast to the completely stupid EVA 4090, at least here you’re getting something truly unique, although I’d prefer this w/o the rad and with G1/4 fittings so it can go into open loops. there’s no doubt that it is a looker and that it also has substance.

It's protected quite well if we have to trust them....also a limited edition and maybe few RMA because I don't think that suddenly everybody is going crazy and one kidney is the new norm....:D https://i.imgur.com/4XBS0fb.png

My Asus Vega had the cooler falling off, a rubberbands around the card helped it run at stock speeds again. A 5700XT had the same cooler and same problem. The comment from Asus was that AMD says 110 degrees is ok, so no RMA for you.

Right? I had a Asus mouse wear out on me after several years, this new GPU is literally garbage

This is a card for youtubers and the like, who will make money on views and "reviews". Who would in their right mind give so much money for this monstrosity.

The coil whine on this card will make you nuts. Fans on radiator are also garbage, you will want to replace them with Noctua or anything equivalent. In the end it's just too expensive for what it is, while on top of its huge price tag the card will be surpassed sooner than later once RTX 5000 series hit the market. That said, the Matrix was released a year too late, because it's even more inappropriate to buy it now.

This is Beyond Expensive.
