Going for a 1500$ cpu but getting a Motherboard that would be so limited in PCIe lanes would not be my cup of tea. The non pro should have 48 PCIe gen 5 lanes, if i were to go towards this platform, I would get a motherboard that make use of everything available on the already cut back cpu.

The fans are for 1000W overclocking. More then 20 phases each on 110A should be plenty to run the CPU stock without the fans on. Almost all 14900k boards run fine without VRM fans, so this should run fine too, it is only 25% more power then a 14900k anyway.
