I really do not agree with that 1440p is not much more heavy vram wise vs 1080p... If I am not mistaken the difference is often less than a gb.
i'm not so sure especially if one is using rt. not every optimized game treats vram the same, let alone "new" releases

On the other hand I am not touching an 8gb card on my possibly 2023 update! I do not think 8gb is wise nowdays

Forget about 1440p on this, mlid claims 11% over 6650xt for the same 175W. Seems like n33 is just as mediocre for perf/power uplift over rdna2 as n31 over n21. very slow progress as this isn't even 3060ti performance level, more like halfway from 6650xt to 3060ti. On pcie8x w. 8GB it'll still be miles behind 3060ti at 1440p, let alone 6700xt. Just buy old gen.
