The NVIDIA developer site shows a new driver today. Please consider this driver BETA. Windows driver version 259.31 and Linux drivers version 256.38.03 provide full support for OpenGL 4.1 and GLSL 4.10 on capable hardware.

This driver also supports several new OpenGL extensions for both 4.1-capable GPUs and older GPUs. Judging from the setup files, pretty much any geForce graphics cards starting at series 6 and younger is supported. Please share your experiences on this driver in this forum thread.

NVIDIA has a new series 258 drivers out on the web, this is revision 258.19 which carries support for a large amount of GeForce graphics cards.

The 258.19 driver includes the PhysX  system software, the HD audio 1.0.9.1 driver, and has support for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300 and 400 (GTX 465 too) series desktop cards, and the ION GPUs.

NVIDIA has released a new series 257 drivers, this is revision 257.21 WHQL which carries support for a large amount of GeForce graphics cards.

The 257.15 beta driver includes the PhysX  system software, the HD audio 1.0.9.1 driver, and has support for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300 and 400 (GTX 465 too) series desktop cards, and the ION GPUs.

Nvidia's Release 256 drivers are due to be available at Nvidia.com on May 24th 2010 though the 3D Vision Surround component is not due till late June.

The initial release will enable new SLI setup controls and improve performance on several key applications for GTX 400 GPUs reported Tom Petersen on his Blog:

" I have been talking to a lot of our customers over the last few months and many of the most enthusiastic among them are asking when we'll have our driver update to support 3D Vision Surround. We're also get the same inquiries from press folks looking to do reviews of 3D Vision Surround.
